Michael Miller

Mike is a native Californian, raised in Downey. He served in the California Army National Guard from 1965-71.  He retired this year after a 41-year police career. Although he is a lifetime shooter and supporter of the Second Amendment, he did not start shooting competitively until 2003, when he began Highpower Rifle competition. He earned his Distinguished Rifleman Badge in 2005.  Mike was elected to the Board in 2007. He remains active in Across-the-Course, Mid and Long Range target shooting. He is a member of the Coalinga Rifle Club, Santa Margarita Gun Club and Burbank Rifle and Revolver Club. He is an affiliate and sponsor of the California Grizzlies Juniors shooting organization and the M1 for Vets, which is a nationwide organization dedicated to promoting shooting sports with disabled veterans returning from the War on Terror.
