CRPA and Law Enforcement Agree…Law-abiding citizens are not the problem.
As well as general membership, CRPA’s 35,000+ members include law enforcement
officers, prosecutors, professionals, and firearm experts.
In 1991, under direction of the CRPA Law Enforcement Committee, a poll was conducted of police officers and sheriffs throughout California. The results conclusively established that law enforcement does not endorse gun control as a crime control measure.
CRPA and law enforcement form an eager alliance that promotes firearms safety and works to defeat needless restrictions on the law-abiding. Whenever possible, CRPA has worked with law enforcement to help establish rational policies regarding the return of personal firearms and localized relaxed CCW systems.
