The California rifle and pistol Association has entered into an agreement with the folks at ‘GunBroker.com’ to educate potential sellers and vendors outside California, about the laws and regulations governing sales and shipments of firearms to California customers. If you have spent any time on ‘GunBroker’ or similar sites, you have all seen the statements like ‘No sales to California!’ even though the item being offered is completely legal to sell and ship to California. This program is specifically designed to bring both buyers and sellers together and educate them about CFLC and the requirements for doing business with California customers. California gun owners and collectors are a huge market for the rest of America and refusing to do business with us only encourages anti-gun politicians in California to continue to make it difficult to do business in the firearms industry. As we are all well aware, there are many misconceptions and misunderstandings about what is and what is not legal and what the procedures are for selling and shipping to our state. This program is designed as a ‘one click’ resource for people to educate themselves about a substantial market and customer base! Plus, it’s a great way to support California gun owners and firearms related businesses in our state! When contacting potential out-of-state sellers who are reluctant to do business with California sportsmen and gun owners, please consider the following:
1). Contact the seller before you place a bid. Be polite, professional and reassure them you will comply with all state and federal laws regarding firearms transactions.
2). Include the following link in your correspondence:

We are very pleased to have ‘GunBroker.com’ as our partner on this campaign and we strongly encourage our members to visit their site and support them just as they have supported us! www.gunbroker.com
